Crypko is an image-generation platform that allows users to create anime-style character illustrations to their liking, even without time and skills for drawing. First launched in 2022, the platform used generative adversarial networks (GAN) to allow users to generate, fuse and edit the illustrations. Crypko had over 600 thousand registered users worldwide.
