Materials Informatics

Technologies to accelerate the development of new materials and catalysts

Overview

PFN supports companies to discover innovative materials for a sustainable future in the field of materials informatics – a combination of material science and information science that accelerates development of new materials and catalysts using machine learning and deep learning.

Feature

Matlantis™ atomistic simulator

PFN and ENEOS Corporation co-developed Matlantis™, a versatile atomistic simulator powered by deep learning. PFN and ENEOS’s joint venture Preferred Computational Chemistry launched Matlantis as a cloud-based service in July 2021 for atomic-scale investigation of material properties and computer-aided material development.
